Welcome to our home page... As usual, it's tough to decide what to put on here. You want to share, but you want to keep your life somewhat private, even in this day of information overload. We hope we have achieved a balance between the two... |
Here I am with my wife Jan. We've been married 29 years, and hope to manage at least 29 more... it's nice to have a "life partner". Currently, we are involved in publishing and consulting, under our company Second Star Creations. Check it out to see what we’re up to! In my "normal life", I help companies build new technology businesses. I helped Hallmark Cards create a memory products business with Hallmark Stories in Kansas City. In Rome, Georgia, I led the creation of SecureTax, the first internet income tax filing system which was sold to Intuit in 1999. I also spent 15 years at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio. Life in the past few years has consisted of quite a few transitions. We’ve been in Kansas for eight years now, which is quite an experience! Things stay hectic! But still, we try to savor life every day. As always, we’re ready to scuba dive again (see our "travel" section) whenever we can manage it. Maybe back to one of our favorite spots, the Cayman Islands? We love to travel, and had a wonderful Photo Safari trip in Africa in September 2001, a trip to Alaska in 2004, and a tour through Costa Rica in 2005. In 2006, we saw both France and Norway. When I can't get out of the house, I use the Internet and comic books to keep me sane. That's probably more than you wanted to know, if you simply stumbled on this page.
